First off, what the hell were you doing at Autozone getting paint for your car? Second, why are you painting the car yourself? Third, what the hell do you mean by trim...the bottom area by the side skirts? Fourth, you should know that NO two paints are exactly the same and listening to a guy at AutoZone about it is bordering on insane. Fifth, WHY!? I'm sorry...this just disturbs me. If there's one area of paranoia on the car it's paint. A screwup can be MAJOR so one should never skimp. You should have taken it to a professional paint store and had them stick the DuPont (or other) camera on there. It will tell you the EXACT paint breakdown (mine was 78 parts white, 1 part black) and they mix you up a bottle for $5.00. Do this next time bro. Good luck.
: I went to autozone today with a paint cap (i used to origally paint my Trim around My Z) and they didnt have the exact brand of paint i used but told me to get this otyher brand whiched they guranteed me it was the same color ect ect, so i come home and started Repainting my trim with the orignal paint which was still left then after i run out i started using the new brand of shit!!! and it looked the same color up close and after i got half way done i backed away a couple of feet and its WAY OFF and looks like shit now!!!!!!!!!!! most the car is darker then the rear valence and some of the side!!!!!! so i guess im going to have to go to a paint and body and just have them do it b/c i dont have the time to sand it all done and redo it all!!!!
